The wind was blowing cross shore over the mountains at a hell of a rate and was bouncing all over the valley but predominently funnelling down the valley from off shore. The general thought was that the prevailing wind was too strong for the thermal effect to suck the flow down the mountain, they were right.

After lunch we took the Tabou Coolriders out for more upwind 360 practice. It was a comedy as the wind was bouncing all over the place so some 360s were 540s as you chased the wind, others were completed as a 180! The water temperature had dropped as the offshore winds had blown the warm surface away so we all headed in.

The wind picked up and got to the stage of liftingsome of the simulators up and throwing them down the beach. It was too strong for safety cover so the beach was closed and we hit the bar.
